The 350th anniversary of the founding of the University of Zagreb, 1669 − 2019. Obverse: the inner part of the core features a partial presentation of the official logo of the University of Zagreb, which consists of the graphically stylised presentation of the central risalit with the staircase of the University building (Rectorate and the Faculty of Law) and the sculpture by Ivan Meštrović, "History of Croats”, which is positioned in front of the entrance to the University building. The period from the year of the founding of the University of Zagreb to the year of release of the coin “1669 – 2019” is inscribed along the edge of the core, below the partial presentation of the official logo. The inscription “350. OBLJETNICA OSNIVANJA SVEUČILIŠTA U ZAGREBU” (350TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDING OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ZAGREB) is laid out circularly within the ring. A presentation of the official coat of arms of the City of Zagreb is positioned below the core, on the coin’s ring surface. Reverse: the centre of the coin core features the stylised denomination numeral “25”. The outlines of the number “25” reveal an image of a marten turned to the right, with the marten’s body integrated with the denomination numeral. Positioned above the denomination numeral and the image of a marten, on the coin’s ring surface, is an image of the coat of arms of the Republic of Croatia. The inscription “REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA” is laid out semi-circularly at the left and at the right of the coat of arms of the Republic of Croatia, along the outer edge of the coin’s ring. The name of the monetary unit “KUNA” is inscribed below the numeral, within the coin's ring, along the outer edge. A common oak branch with acorns is positioned semi-circularly at the left of the name of the monetary unit, on the coin’s ring surface. A laurel branch in bloom is positioned at the right of the name of the monetary unit, on the coin’s ring.
