Hero City of Kerch. The obverse: in the centre the indication of denomination of the coin in two lines "2 РУБЛЯ" (2 RUBLES), lower the inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), under it the year of issue "2017", to the left and to the right a stylized twig of a plant, to the right at the rim the mint trade mark. The reverse: the relief image of soldiers making a landing during the Kerch-Eltigen Landing Operation, above on the left the image of the Gold Star medal, at the bottom along the rim the inscription "КЕРЧЬ" (KERCH). The artists: A.V. Baklanov, National Artist of Russia; S.A. Kornilov. The sculptor: A.V. Gnidin. Mint: Moscow Mint (MМД). The edge: 12 sections with 7 corrugations
