Yevhenii Berezniak. The commemorative coin is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of birth of Yevhenii Stepanovych Berezniak, a Hero of Ukraine, the military intelligence agent who saved the city of Krak?w (Republic of Poland) from the fascist invaders, a Candidate of Education, author of many scientific works. Obverse: above there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular inscription НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine); in the centre there is a conventionalized image of the cathedral towers and other buildings of Krak?w; to the right there is the coin face value 2 / ГРИВНІ (2 / hryvnias) with the coin issue year indication 2014, to the left - the mark of the National Bank of Ukraine Mint. Reverse: there is a portrait of Yevhenii Berezniak against the background of the conventionalized map of Krak?w; to the left there are the inscriptions 1914/2013/ ЄВГЕНІЙ/БЕРЕЗНЯК/`ПАРОЛЬ/DUM SPIRO` (1914/2013 / Yevhenii / Berezniak / `password / dum spiro`).
