Got a proper paint correction done, the difference is genuinely night and day

I'd been putting off any paint work for ages because I assumed polishing was mostly cosmetic and not worth the money on an older car. But after years of swirl marks and dull patches, I finally booked Exotic Car Care polishing and paint restoration and honestly I should have done it sooner. The paint came back deeper than I thought was possible, the swirls are genuinely gone rather than just hidden, and the water beading afterwards tells me the protection is actually there. I'm not usually one to rave about this sort of thing but it genuinely changed how the car looks. Has anyone else had correction work done and been surprised by how much of a difference it made? Or did you find it faded faster than expected?
